Karen Joyce
Specialty: Voice Over Born and raised on the Northwest side of Chicago, she now calls Sarasota, Florida her home. Karen spent years onstage in the Chicago area, beginning in high school when she was pushed onstage (pretty much kicking and screaming from what I heard) only to discover that she could make people laugh ... or cry ... and that it was just about the most fun she could have. Karen has performed in reader's theatre, children's theatre, musical comedy, melodramas and excelled in roles as diverse as Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet" to Toto in a traveling theatre production of "Wizard of Oz." Karen is the girl-next-door, very relatable, relevant and possesses an old school work ethic with solid Midwestern values.
Karen has the tools to self-produce. Her in-home studio is equipped with the latest equipment; Audio Technica 3035 Cardioid Capacitor Microphone, M-Audio preamp audio interface, HP Pavilion Processor, and professional Adobe Audition 3 sound editing/production software.
